Matt, We had added to etherpad for kubecon similar to last kubecon event at LA, with possible topics to cover. https://etherpad.openstack.org/p/airship-kubecon-amsterdam The preferred day at kubecon is usually called Day-0 (That is Monday), when all co-hosting events are held. Therefore I had added list of topics and you are right 1/2 day is not enough on Sunday. Thursday Day-3 may a folks will leave early, therefore prefer Monday April .Lets see what others opine. Plus for room arrangement had sought help from OpenStack (Open Infra) to help us like they did at LA. Please go ahead and add your name and also like to have all people from LA event attending last time.https://etherpad.openstack.org/p/airship-kubecon-san-diego ThanksPrakash On Wednesday, February 26, 2020, 05:50:44 PM GMT+5:30, airship-discuss-request@lists.airshipit.org <airship-discuss-request@lists.airshipit.org> wrote: Send Airship-discuss mailing list submissions to airship-discuss@lists.airshipit.org To subscribe or unsubscribe via the World Wide Web, visit http://lists.airshipit.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/airship-discuss or, via email, send a message with subject or body 'help' to airship-discuss-request@lists.airshipit.org You can reach the person managing the list at airship-discuss-owner@lists.airshipit.org When replying, please edit your Subject line so it is more specific than "Re: Contents of Airship-discuss digest..." This is a key opportunity to organize a meetup so we can meet face to face and align on work-in-progress, and to deep dive into upcoming scope. As we plan a meetup, I wanted to get some feedback on the timing. Feedback from last time was that it was a bit tough for some folks to travel internationally a day early, and I expect that challenge to be exacerbated this time, given the number of international travelers attending. In addition, we have more things to talk about this time! I'd like to schedule a full day meetup, rather than a half day like we did last time. I propose that we have an all-day Airship Meetup on either * Monday (which might be a travel day for some folks?), or * Thursday ... with folks stepping out if there's a talk or another event that they really must attend. By my estimation the majority of presentations that Airshippers would be interested in are concentrated on Tuesday/Wednesday. Does this sound like a reasonable approach; does it conflict with other plans you have? I wanted to have some conversation here in the ML to gather good options before we put it to some kind of vote/consensus. Thanks, Matt
