Airship community,

Both Airship committees, Working and Technical, each have a vacant seat at this time. Per the special election clause of our governance model [0], special elections for those positions will occur this month. We look forward to this opportunity to welcome new members in each committee that will foster the future of our community with their unique perspective. All it takes is a self-nomination to get started.

Nominations for both committee seats will open on January 6th at 1900 UTC and close on January 13th at 1900 UTC. The Airship election guidelines [1] describe the process of self-nomination and election for committee seats. As a reminder, no more than two individuals from a company may serve on a single committee. The current Technical [2] and Working [3] Committee wiki pages have been updated to reflect each member’s affiliation. Each term will conclude with the standard election cycles, June for the Technical Committee, and August for the Working Committee.

Thank you in advance for your interest and participation in this election!

Drew Walters
