Nominations open for Airship 2019 WC special election
Airship community, Nominations for the special election of the Airship Working Committee's fifth seat are now open, and will remain open until August 6th, 19:00 UTC. This seat will have a nine-month term (to synchronize re-election with the rest of the WC). The Working Committee is off to a great start, and we'd love to add a non-AT&T, non-Ericsson team member (allowing for two-seat maxima per employer) to help continue to advance the Airship community! All nominations must be submitted as a text file to the airship/election repository as explained at [1]. Please make sure to follow the candidacy file naming convention: candidates/2019/WC/<email_address> . Anyone who has contributed to the Airship project within the last 12 months is eligible to run for the Working Committee, as specified in the Airship Governance. Additional information about the nomination process can be found here [1]. Shortly after election officials approve candidates, they will be listed on the same page. Happy running, Matt McEuen [1]: https://opendev.org/airship/election/src/branch/master/doc/source/index.rst
